Hoodies and Hope

You may have heard of a young man by the name of Trayvon Martin who, in his last moments of life on earth was only armed with iced tea and skittles, was murdered  senselessly in what seems so unspeakable in this day and age.
In light of this, the Virginia Tech Hokie family banded together in solidarity to support the Martin family as they cope with losing their son.
The event page reads clearly:

"THIS IS NOT A PROTEST. I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A PROTEST."

I cannot express the unity and determination I sensed when I marched with my peers. We marched as my father and his family has, to combat ignorance and intolerance to bring a better tomorrow. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.
