310 LOVE! EVERYTHING!

Whenever I've been a good girl or my parents find the need to show their love by buying me a treat or two, I always ask for clothes....or money? So with this gift I moseyed on over to 310 Rosemont on Main. I was in a shopping mood and almost bought my brother/Dad a bowie but their selection was a little slim.

I did what I do best, I shopped for myself. What do we think? I'm simply enamored with all of them!

It's a French Connection size 2. I was a little disappointment that a 2 fit so well but it's made in the UK I reasoned with myself and their sizes run a little small. In actuality my size doesn't exist in the United States. I'm ok with this.  And tangerine is "in" this season...so is it worth holding onto? Is it worth the investment? Well, it's a shift dress and I LOVEEE shift dresses, so that wouldn't be a terrible idea.

It's kind of like the one on the left in real life. A very orange, orange:

I'm in LOVE with this one, mostly because it's black and has persnickety details like a row of buttons down the back. Again a 2. But do I really need another black dress? Really?  Yes?

That's just the thing, everything fits. And I've never been a fan of horizontal stripes.
Ok, admittedly this one was kinda big (yay, it was a 2)! So I guess this one is out...

Here it is on another model:

I think I've made up my mind? Well I'm for sure not sure.

Fear 'The Mighty Vest' of Santorum

Republican or Democrat, we can all agree that the Republican candidates are just a HOT MESS. I could spot this out over the holiday break, in the early primaries. My Washingtonian upbringing affords me a certain degree of cynicism. Ok, let's be real...an exacerbated degree of cynicism...
Admittedly the best part about the election was making fun of all the fashion faux pas in the race, especially Rick Santorums (AHEM outrageous rhetoric COUGH)...

SWEATER VEST!

And now that he's not in the running, what will his tumblr: http://fearricksvest.tumblr.com/

whose mantra is "Sleeves slow me down"

and Twitter: (@FearRicksVest) continue to provide us with entertainment?

This guy is OBVIOUSLY not Santorum, but check out the places he'd go in that sexy sweater and glasses. The caption for in the article I pulled if from, Rick Santorum Campaign Offering Sweater Vests for $100 Donations says Santorum:

"...has taken the cartoon character approach, wearing the same outfit every day. Basically, Rick Santorum is now campaigning on two things — gay people are terrible and wearing a sleeveless article of clothing."

And: They're like Mickey Mouse ears at Disneyland but for people who think the Magic Kingdom refers to a country without gay people.

HA.

What's the future for this ultimate politi-bro must have staple?
Well, how can you top having your own...song?

Sweater-vest man: "He's super neat-o"

Wait, I say neat-o!

Wait, this one takes the cake, or top award for insipidity: (His campaign video)

Duck, Duck, Duck, Duck...RED!

I wish I could play duck, duck goose with real ducks and geese! No dice though...A quick jaunt to one of the coolest places on campus and me being silly (a regular practice) in The Red Coat. So silly. Enjoy!

Much love,
